Felix Abramovich

Felix Abramovich is the head coach who brings a lot of experience and great organizational skills  to the club. Felix came to the United States 1979 from Odessa, Ukraine, where from the age of 7 to 17 he played for the youth development program of Chernomorets Football Club as a center midfielder. Felix attended Brooklyn College in 1980 where he received “All American” Soccer Player award and won NCAA Division III championship. in 1981 he played professionally for Albany Eagles of ACL. In 1981 and 1985 chosen to represent team USA in the Maccabiah games in Israel. 1982-1983 played for PA stoners. 1984-1986 played for the Columbus Capital of the Major Soccer League.

In 1986, after the  major injury, Felix dedicated himself to full-time coaching. Felix started his coaching career at Brooklyn Italian Soccer Club, one of the well-known and prestigious soccer clubs in the US. Felix also served as a Head Coach at Cyclones Youth Soccer Club from 1992 to 1998. He was involved in training and developing  professional soccer players with Brooklyn Knights Soccer Club. In early 2000s, Felix served as a Director of Soccer Operations at Aviator Sports and Recreation Complex. Having built successful and dedicated coaching career, Felix decided to open Coney Island Soccer club in 2004.
